We’re on a mission to educate as many people as possible who want to work from home and start an online business that will provide them with freedom of time, money, and life.

It wasn’t long ago when we decided that we had enough of that lifestyle. We were tired of asking permission from our bosses, we were sick of worrying about our finances when eating out, and we were over not having enough freedom in our lives to do what we truly wanted to do.

Now, let’s go back in time so we can explain to you how we got the idea to start My Freedom Playbook…
How We Met – Our Story
We were both born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. We met each other in high school; however, we only started getting to know each other during senior year.
We immediately clicked. We took countless trips across the island and visited as many local restaurants and dessert spots as possible while pretending that we were food critics. We’re foodies at heart.
After we graduated from high school, Jordan moved to Arizona for college while Vivian attended college in Hawaii. Yes, we did a long-distance relationship through all of our college years.
Actually, our relationship has been long-distance for the majority of the time that we’ve been together! (Side note: Long distance relationships are extremely difficult, but with the right person – it’s very much possible!) As of 2020, we’ve been together for almost five years now.
Upon graduation, Vivian began working the typical 9-5 in the marketing field in Hawaii. On the other hand, Jordan began working as an Air Traffic Controller based in Miami, Florida.
You’d think it’d be a bit odd for two people in the middle of a long-distance relationship to come up with the idea and the motivation to start an online business, but we’ll save that story for the next section!
Thinking Outside Of The Box
To be honest, neither of us had ever truly experienced the horrors of financial hardship and how difficult it can be. We were both making enough income just to get by and we were waiting for the right time to start our future together.
However, as we got settled into our full-time careers, there was always a thought bothering us – Is this really it? Is there anything else to life?
Our lifelong goal is and forever will be to travel across the world together and explore all the different cultures and food cuisines. Like we said earlier, foodies at heart.
We wondered when we’d ever have enough free time to be able to accomplish this goal of ours. We questioned if this goal was just a dream or if we’d have to wait until retirement to have the freedom to do so.
However, we figured that this was the normal way that most people lived. We thought that in order to get what you want, you’d have to make some sacrifices in life. Our logic was that you have to prioritize what you want in life and you have to make sacrifices – You can’t have it all.
Boy, were we wrong…
Thrown Into A Pandemic
We’re sure that you know about the coronavirus pandemic that is currently overtaking the world in 2020. We didn’t know it at the time, but this disastrous event actually planted the seed for the creation of My Freedom Playbook.
If you asked us earlier this year, we would never imagine we’d be starting anything like this.
At the beginning of the pandemic, Vivian got laid off from work and Jordan’s Air Traffic Control training got put on pause. It was a time of great uncertainty and us wondering how badly we would be impacted by the economic downfall. We were no longer getting the income to pay our rent and we had to start digging into our savings accounts just to buy groceries and everyday necessities.
After many hours of watching Netflix and Game of Thrones, we FINALLY had our revelation. We knew that there had to be a better option for us; something better than waiting to get called back to work and depleting our savings accounts to get by.
We began asking ourselves what we really wanted our future to look like and what we are going to do to ensure that it happens.
We decided that we were going to take control of our own future rather than let someone else control it for us. We wanted to control our own destiny.
With the copious amount of free time we had, we turned to the internet and began researching ‘how to make money online’ which is where we learned that we were doing it all wrong!
Countless Hours Later…
We realized that life is only going to be as good as you’re willing to make it. We were tired of being told what we can and cannot do. The thing that bothered us the most was that we felt like we did not have the freedom we wanted.
Whether it be freedom to spend time with each other or freedom to not worry about our bank account…our regular jobs simply did now allow for that.
On the other hand, it has always been our goal to end our long-distance struggles and move together in person. This added to our drive to find a way to make this all possible.
We began asking ourselves this new question: Why should we have to sacrifice one thing to get an abundance of another?
This is when we learned that the fastest and most efficient way to obtain the freedom that we desired was by creating an online business. From that point on, My Freedom Playbook became our ticket to lasting freedom.
Starting My Freedom Playbook
We created My Freedom Playbook to bring together a community of like-minded individuals who are committed to making a change with the desire to regain their freedom of time, money, and life.
My Freedom Playbook will teach you how to build your own online business from scratch and will provide you with tips, advice and guides that you would need to get up and running.
We are here to lead you through the journey of making money online.
Let’s get one thing clear – we are by no means considered to be “experts” on this subject matter. If you’re looking to get expert how-to advice, then this is not the site for you.
We’re just an ordinary couple looking to make extraordinary change in our lives because we believe it to be possible.
Since we’re not “experts,” we’ll be teaching you about the skills that we learn, as well as the mistakes to avoid (that we have likely already made at this point). We want to dive deep into some companies that you will likely be choosing from when starting your business and we want to give you an honest review on each particular organization.
We believe that if you want to become the most successful person you are capable of, then you need to put forward more effort than anyone else. We believe the best way to help you will be to provide you with how-to’s every step of the way and tell you what works and what does not.
We are constantly trying to learn new things and improve ourselves. We believe that if you want to become the most successful person you are capable of, then you need to put forward more effort than anyone else.
We remind ourselves that fear is not something to avoid, rather it is an indication that we are learning new things. If you start any task with the mindset to succeed, then your body will do whatever it takes to make that a reality.
